Boway organized Wärtsilä Global First Commercial 2.0 Scrubber Completion Ceremony at Boway manufacturing workshop. This is an extraordinary significant event for Boway, which marks a new cooperation milestone between Wärtsilä and Boway and indicates an extended prospect of mutual beneficial cooperation.

Jason Liu, Supply Management Manager, Exhaust Treatment of Wärtsilä Management (Shanghai) delivered congratulations to Boway and expressed his thankfulness for the efforts Boway has made.

“After about 100 days of intensive production and installation, we have come to the important moment: the completion of Wärtsilä's first commercial 2.0 scrubber in the world, which indicates that Wärtsilä's new series scrubbers have reached a significant phased achievement.

It is a great honor to have representatives from MSC, Hudong shipyard and Jiangnan Shipyard present on this celebratory day. We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and thank you for your strong support.

2.0 series scrubber tower is a new generation of scrubber tower system innovatively designed by Wärtsilä technology team. It not only greatly improves the working efficiency, but also greatly reduces the overall volume of equipment, saving space for users and improving the convenience of installation and debugging. At the same time, by optimizing the design, the cost of equipment is greatly reduced, which not only meets the requirements of energy saving and emission performance, but also improves the commercial operation value for customers.

The realization of new design of new products relies on good building techniques. Boway is an important and strategic supplier partner of Wärtsilä. I'm glad that the first Commercial 2.0 scrubber tower is built by Boway and has been completed. It cannot be separated from the hard work of each one and the team cooperation, which fully embodies the value of Boway and its team-work capabilities .

Wärtsilä’s customer MSC representative Mr. Yukun Chen attended the event and expressed his appreciation to Wärtsilä and Boway and he was delightful to witness the completion of the first IQ scrubber and wish Wärtsilä’s products would make more contributions for World’s Green Shipping industry.  

 Boway PM Mr. Lin Gu made a summary report to elaborate how Boway overcame all the challenges and made this project come true.

Today, we hold the grand "Wärtsilä Global First Commercial 2.0 Scrubber Completion Ceremony" at Boway manufacturing workshop. This is an extraordinary significant event, which marks a new cooperation milestone between Wärtsilä and Boway and indicates an extended prospect of mutual beneficial cooperation.

First of all, I would like to extend my warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the leaders and gentlemen from Wärtsilä, MSC shipowners, Jiangnan Shipyard and Hudong Shipyard who attend this "FAT ceremony". Thank you for your presence!  

Boway, as a manufacturing enterprise, is persistently pursuing organizational development, at the same time, we are more considering about the long-term and win-win cooperation with customers, to win customers' trust, bring long-term benefits for customers, and lay a good foundation for our own development.

Over the past few years, the cooperation with Wärtsilä enabled us to develop and improve our hardware of construction and facilities as well as soft skills of professional capabilities. The application of the surface treatment production line, especially the pickling and passivation production line, having stable system operation parameters and high standard environmental protection facilities with zero pollutant discharge, provides a strong hardcore guarantee for the quality and delivery time of the scrubber tower. In addition, Boway’s third workshop is under construction and will equip with more related equipment, which will put into use in the early of 2022. With the readiness of 3^rd workshop, we will form a complete and more reasonable production system from material prefabrication, welding, machining, surface treatment, assembly, packaging and delivery with sufficient capacity. The layout will greatly optimize our production process and make it more reasonable and efficient to meet the future manufacturing needs for larger and more complex products .

Wärtsilä is one of our most important clients, in order to guarantee the product quality, ensure on time delivery, we conducted a series of optimization in management. From staff structure point of view, we made special arrangements for Wärtsilä project and detailed designation and division of work, pointed specialized sales manager to communicate related matters including technical requirements with customer before orders; specialized project manager, responsible for internal and external coordination and delivery control during manufacturing process; specialized fitting and welding team with skilled workers stable in the position who especially produce scrubber related products and truly familiar with the product; specialized quality inspectors who are engaged in the long-term inspection of such products to ensure the reliability of product quality.

At the same time, we also optimize the production process, more strictly implement the production standards of each process, strengthen the assessment mechanism, further standardize the technical requirements of outsourcing parts. All functional departments work and cooperation closely, communicate timely. The implementation of a series of measures greatly improve the stability of product quality and short the delivery time.

More importantly, for a long time, Wärtsilä team has offered Boway a strong support and help. They have a high sense of responsibility and strict on technical details and quality requirements. They provide elaborate guidance and enable us to seize the key points in the production process, to overcome many difficulties and unfavorable factors for continuous optimization and improvement, to ensure quality and on time delivery.

Although we have made some progress, we are also clearly aware of the existing deficiencies and challenges. With the continuous upgrading of products and the continuous improvement of quality requirements, we are confident to follow up Wärtsilä's steps and take the initiative to improve the deficiencies existing in the whole process from receiving orders to packaging and delivery as well as after-sale service. We sincerely hope Wärtsilä team will support and help us as always, and both sides can form a truly efficient work team to ensure product quality and delivery time.

Boway's development cannot apart from the support and efforts from customers. We look forward to having a closer and extensive cooperation with Wärtsilä , pursuing for long-term and win-win goals.
